New store hours: Nerd Rage Gaming’s store in Buffalo Grove, Ill., is now open Tuesday-Saturday from 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
Nerd Rage Championship Series: Trials for the first Nerd Rage Championship Series are halfway complete. Trials will continue through November; the winners of the 10 monthly trials will be joined by six at-large qualifiers for a 16-person, $2,500 tournament in December.
Current qualified players: Noah Cohen; Dakota Clark; Chris Smith; Matt Dow; and Alex Javed.
Current at-large points leaders: Will Hochman, 26 points; Max Malter, 23 points; John Karavitis, 21 points; David Buccelli, 20 points; Ben Sliwa, 19 points; Tuan Nguyen, 17 points. See the complete standings here.

July Championship Trial: The July trial is Legacy, to be held on July 10 at 11 a.m. In addition to $1,000 cash, the prize pool will be expanded to include a case of Eternal Masters. The event is capped at 90 players. Pre-registration is available. Here’s the prize breakdown:
1st Place – $400.00, 2 Boxes of Eternal Masters & Qualification to 16 person, $2,500.00 Championship
2nd Place – $200.00, 1 Box of Eternal Masters &10 Championship points
3rd/4th Place – $100.00, 12 packs of Eternal Masters & 8 Championship points
5th – 8th Place – $50.00 & 6 Championship points
9th – 16th Place – 4 Championship points
17th – 32nd Place – 2 Championship points
33rd+ Place – 1 Championship point
August Championship Trial: The August Championship Trial is Modern, to be held Aug. 20 at 11 a.m.
Star City Regionals: Nerd Rage Gaming will be hosting Season Two of the StarCityGames.com Regionals in Milwaukee.

Eldritch Moon prerelease: Prerelease events begin at midnight, July 16, at Nerd Rage Gaming in Buffalo Grove, Ill. Events continue at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, and Sunday, July 17.
