NRG Series 2018 Season Two Schedule

After last Saturday’s Championship Trial in Madison, we’re officially halfway through Season One of the 2018 NRG Series! So, we’d like to tell you a little about what’s in store for Season Two.

First, here’s the CT schedule for the remainder of Season One:

Date Location Format
April 14, 2018 Buffalo Grove, Illinois Legacy
May 12, 2018 City TBA, Iowa Modern
June 9, 2018 Palatine, Illinois $5k Team Constructed

There’s still a lot of fun to be had in Season One, as the NRG Series heads to Iowa for the first time in May (stay tuned for the venue announcement very soon) and we host our largest CT ever this June! You don’t want to miss out on any of these events, and we want to make sure you’re able to attend. Preregistration is available for the April and May events here.

And now, here’s your first look at the Season Two Schedule:

Date Location Format
July 14, 2018 City TBA, Indiana Modern
August 25, 2018 Buffalo Grove, Illinois Legacy
September 22, 2018 City TBA, Missouri Modern
October 20, 2018 Milwaukee, Wisconsin Legacy
November 3, 2018 Palatine, Illinois $5k Team Constructed
December 1, 2018 Buffalo Grove, Illinois Modern
December 15 & 16, 2018 Buffalo Grove, Illinois Championship – Invite Only

We announced last year that the Championship Series was expanding outside of Illinois, and we’re excited to bring CTs to Indiana and Missouri in Season Two. After last weekend’s fantastic event in Madison, we’re also looking forward to going back to Wisconsin later this year for a Legacy CT. Then, we’ll have another huge Team Constructed event in Palatine before the season wraps up with a Modern event at NRG HQ in Buffalo Grove.

As always, there will be a ton of CTQs hosted on other days throughout the season, so be sure to check our official Facebook group to find out about CTQs in your area. We’re also working with local stores to make sure that each area gets a few CTQs before a CT comes to town so that players have the chance to win free entry to their local event! If you’re a tournament organizer looking to host a CTQ, be sure to check out our Retailer Information here.

We look forward to bringing you the best experience possible for the remainder of this year’s events! If you’d like to let us know anything about the NRG Series, please contact our Event Manager Max Kahn at max@nerdragegaming.com or on Twitter at @MaxPlaysMTG.
